Serena Dunlap (she/her) is a realistic, detailed, and whimsical artist. Art has always been a part of her life, not as a choice but as a natural connection. Before she could express her emotions through words, she poured them into her art, using it as a therapeutic outlet to cope with childhood challenges. She started drawing the moment she could hold a pencil, filling boxes with sketches and discovering the power of creative expression. Every piece that she creates, a little piece of her light, her love, and her heart goes into it.
As a mixed-media artist, I delve into a diverse array of materials to create vibrant, layered compositions that blend realism with whimsical elements. My work is a tapestry of influences drawn from the things I cherish, resulting in pieces that transcend a singular style and embody a piece of my artistic spirit.
My creative process is inherently intuitive, often beginning with spontaneous sketches that evolve organically as I explore textures, colors, and forms. Each artwork unfolds its own narrative of transformation, celebrating the beauty of nature and the enchantment of the world around us.
Through my art, I aspire to evoke a sense of wonder and provide an escape from the mundane. I hope that my creations resonate with others, inviting them to experience the magic woven into everyday life.”
